Vital Life Training presents the following Courses:

Basic Child Care
First Aid and CPR
HIV and Aids Awareness
Child Stimulation and Play
Water Safety and Drown Prevention
Domestic Cooking Classes
Domestic Spring Cleaning Classes
Home Based Care for the Elderly
Level 1 and 2 First Aid

Participants may choose which Modules to attend, depending on their training needs.

IMPLEMENTING AND MONITORING:

The Courses of Vital Life are presented in small classes, so that individual attention can be paid to each participant. Each module has a theoretical and a practical component, so that participants know the reason for a procedure and are also able to have hands-on practice.

SAFE COMMUNITY – FREE SAFETY TALKS

Vital Life Training is partnering with Safe Community to bring lunchtime training meetings to Domestics workers on safety and security. These highly informative and valuable talks will cover topics such as:

– Personal safety
– Community safety
– Safety whilst in your home
– The latest scams being used
– Information on how criminals think and what to look out for
when working in your home.

These training meetings will be held free of charge and will take approximately 1.5 hours over lunch time. You do not need to be a member of Safe Community for your domestic lady to attend. Simply email us to enquire when the next dates are. Through this initiative, we hope to increase your Domestic staff’s awareness of their own safety, the safety of your community and most importantly the safety of everyone in your home.

Gail is passionate about helping new families and does a number of talks at both ante natal and post natal classes around Pietermaritzburg, topics range from child care options when going back to work, accident prevention in the home, first aid and getting your first aid kit together and infant choking demonstrations.
