Place the veggies into a steamer or into a colander over a pot of simmering water and place the pot lid on. Don’t forget to season your veggies with a little salt. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until the veggies are just tender. DO NOT OVERCOOK. As soon as the veggies are tender, drain the water and rinse the veggies under COLD water. This helps to keep the veggies nice and bright and stops them from loosing their colour. Serve Immediately.
You can use a variety of veggies but just remember to keep them all the same size so that they cook evenly.
